Dr. Brehm-Goldberg provides compassionate and expert care for her patients and empathizes with her clients, as she knows that decisions can be difficult to make for one’s beloved pets.
Outside of her work as a Veterinarian, she loves spending quality time with her husband and two dogs. She loves spending time outdoors and enjoys hunting and fishing. She also enjoys baking cakes and desserts for her family and friends!
Skylar Blankenship, Hospital Manager
As Hospital Manager, Skylar’s greatest passion extends beyond patient care—it’s investing in people. She believes veterinary medicine should be more than just a job; it should be a meaningful and rewarding career. One of her favorite aspects of leadership is watching team members discover strengths they never knew they had, develop new skills, and grow into confident professionals. By fostering trust, accountability, and a culture of continuous learning, she strives to create an environment where both team members and clients feel valued, supported, and cared for.
While Skylar has a special appreciation for large animal medicine and enjoys collaborating with the hospital’s talented veterinary team, she is equally happy spending time with a cuddly Golden Retriever and getting to know the families who trust Rowland Veterinary Services with their pets and livestock. She believes that exceptional veterinary care starts with building relationships and ensuring every client feels heard, respected, and well cared for.
Outside of the hospital, Skylar’s life revolves around faith, family, and football. She and her high school sweetheart have been married for many years and are proud parents to two boys and a spirited young daughter. Whether cheering from the sidelines at a football field, enjoying family movie nights, gathering around the television to watch the Tennessee Volunteers, or spending time with their dogs, family remains at the center of everything they do. The Blankenship’s are also actively involved in their church and community, reflecting the values that guide both Skylar’s personal life and professional leadership.
